John & Fiona have many plans for the house and garden over the next few months/years and have promised guests to keep them up to date.

Kitchen Refurbish - Shabby Chic meets the Iron Chef
In preparation for Cooking Classes (starting Mid July 2006) we have refurbished our kitchen. The snappy new decor was designed to compliment the existing period tiles.

Old Kitchen - If you thought John was fast in the old kitchen - you should see him in the new. New Equipment includes: steam oven, induction cooktop and espresso machine. There's also a new doorway with easy access to herb garden and outside cooking area

Weeding and beautifying the water lily pond
Sadly, the water lily pond has been neglected over the last few years. Over the last few months, John & Fiona have been working on returning the pond to its former glory. Check out their progress:

Before: Nice outlook but pond is weed infested During: Dragging out the weed (thanks to guests Denis & Roslyn for this photo) Now: The pond is now a beautiful place to sit and contemplate with plantings, a jetty and a few sculptures.
